Lorey O’Neill
She will never forget her first experience in a gym over 20 years ago. She went to an aerobics class with a friend and chose a spot right up front. When everyone was moving forward, she was going backwards! She stayed there for the entire hour and survived, barely! She kept going, but stayed in the back of the class. After a couple of years, she was keeping up just fine, and thinking maybe she could even instruct the class. She became an AFAA-certified group fitness instructor in 1993 and spent over 12 years teaching aerobic, strength and step classes at various gyms and town recreation departments. Never forgetting her first class, she has always felt a special connection with people new to fitness and tries to make it less intimidating by really “teaching” fitness. In 2004, she became a NASM-certified personal trainer and enjoys teaching small (2-6 participants) group classes. CPR certified.

Julia Kleederman
Julia is so grateful that Zumba has come into her life and seeks to share that experience with others. For her, Zumba offers a great mental and physical boost. After attending as many different Zumba classes as possible, she received her Zumba Instructor Certification from the founder of Zumba, Beto Perez.
As a certified instructor, Julia's hope for each Zumba class is that everyone will leave feeling happy, revived, and anticipating the next class. She believes that Zumba is a great workout for a person regardless of dance experience or fitness level.
Julia is so pleased to join the Personal Edge team. She graduated from Wesleyan University in May and is looking forward to developing connections at Personal Edge. Oh, and above all else, she is Arlene Goldman's niece!!
