Lorey O'Neill
Lorey will never forget her first experience in a gym over 20 years ago. She went to an aerobics class with a friend and chose a spot right up front. When everyone was moving forward, she was going backwards! She stayed there for the entire hour and survived, barely! She kept going, but stayed in the back of the class. After a couple of years, she was keeping up just fine, and thinking maybe she could even instruct the class.
Lorey became an AFAA-certified group fitness instructor in 1993 and spent over 12 years teaching aerobic, strength and step classes at various gyms and town recreation departments. Never forgetting her first class, she has always felt a special connection with people new to fitness and tries to make it less intimidating by really “teaching” fitness. In 2004, she became a NASM-certified personal trainer and enjoys teaching small (2-6 participants) group classes. Lorey is CPR certified.
